CE-UY 3153 Geotechnical Engineering3 Credits This course covers: Introduction to soil mechanics and foundation engineering, including origin of soils; phase relationships; classification of soils; permeability; effective stress; seepage; consolidation; shear strength; slope stability; and bearing capacity.
