				Goals and ObjectivesThe MS in Environmental Engineering prepares graduates to plan,  functionally design, control, operate and manage municipal and  industrial pollution-prevention systems. Students are exposed to a  learning atmosphere that provides a mix of theoretical and practical  approaches. Courses include a mix of presentations, project exercises  and practical problem solutions. Specific program objectives are to provide the skills necessary to: 
    fundamentally understand the science and engineering of natural and man-made environmental systems;functionally design air, water and waste treatment systems and components;control and operate environmental facilities;understand the modeling and simulation of environmental systems; andparticipate actively in multidisciplinary teams to solve environmental problems. |
