Those students electing the thesis option will also be required to take CM-GY 5040 : Chemical Lab Safety. Biomedical Engineering-Biomaterials Track
To meet graduation requirements, students must have an overall B average in all courses (including MS thesis, research or guided studies) and must not have more than two grades of C in required (core) subjects. Required courses for all students in the Biomaterials Track that fulfill their requirements for an MS in Biomedical Engineering are shown below: Electives
- See List below 6 Credits *
In addition
Once per year, biomedical engineering MS students must register for Colloquium in Biomedical Engineering (BE-GY 9730 , 0 credits) and Seminar in Biomedical Engineering (BE-GY 9740 , 0 credits). For all students in the Biomaterials track, remaining credits (6) must be selected from the list of electives unless permission is granted by the biomedical engineering graduate adviser to substitute a course not listed below. Alternatively, students also may elect to take research in biomedical engineering courses (BE-GY 873x , 3 to 6 credits) without writing a thesis. Electives
