BE-GY 6603 Drug Delivery3 Credits The course provides an integrated approach to the basic and clinical science of drug delivery. Topics: the history drug delivery; kinds of drugs to be delivered, including genes and proteins; various targeting mechanisms; transport phenomena and thermodynamic concepts; pharmacokinetics of drug delivery, polymeric drug-delivery systems; various devices developed for controlled delivery.
