CE-UY 3133 Structural Analysis3 Credits This course offers in-depth coverage of structural analysis techniques. Topics: analysis of statically determinate structures; deflection calculations using energy methods; analysis of statically indeterminate structures using superposition; influence lines; and slope deflection, moment distribution and matrix analysis of structures. Computer applications are included.
Prerequisite(s): MA-UY 2034 and CE-UY 2123 or CE-UY 2113 with a grade of B+ or better (for Brooklyn Engineering Students) or MATH-AD 116 and MATH-AD 121 and ENGR-AD 237 or ENGR-AD 111 (for Abu Dhabi Students). Weekly Lecture Hours: 3 | Weekly Lab Hours: 0 | Weekly Recitation Hours: 1
