MA-UY 954 Precalculus4 Credits This course covers the fundamentals of algebra with a focus on Management and the Life Sciences. The topics include: foundations of algebra, solving equations, exponents, working with algebraic expressions, working with algebraic fractions, proportionality, rates of change, lines in the plane, completing squares, the quadratic formula, systems of linear equations, inequalities, graphs, exponentials, logarithms, inverses of functions, compositions of functions, transformations of functions, and right angle trigonometry. | Offered every term.
