CE-UY 4813 Structural Engineering Capstone3 Credits
This course is the senior capstone experience in structural engineering that requires students to demonstrate the skills acquired through their undergraduate civil engineering curriculum. Students work individually or in groups as determined by the instructor and other participating industry advisers. Students are responsible for periodic submissions, as well as interim and final reports, including a final presentation.
Prerequisite(s): CE-UY 4183 Reinforced Concrete Design or equivalent OR CE-UY 3143 Steel Design or equivalent + Senior Standing.
Note: Students may not take both required capstone courses in the same semester without prior approval from the academic department adviser.
