CBE-UY 1002 Introduction to Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering2 Credits This course introduces the chemical and biomolecular engineering profession. The course covers the introductory concepts of chemical and biological processes; process flowcharts, process variables, data analysis and materials balances. The course also includes seminars given by departmental faculty on various traditional and emerging areas of the profession, and discusses careers prospects for chemical and biomolecular engineers.
Prerequisite(s): CM-UY 1003 or CM-UY 1013 ; freshman/sophomore standing.
