Where MD 2163/W was primarily a historical orientation to media communications, this course is its complement: a critical orientation. Drawing on their evolving research, discursive and creative skills, students in MD 3163 are expected to consider contemporary media-communications practices as integral parts of an ongoing global cultural process, with all of the potential that implies.
