Second of two introductory courses in general physics for non science or engineering majors. (Not an acceptable substitute for PH 2023 or PH 2033 ) Electric forces and fields. Electric potential and capacitance. Electric current. Magnetic forces and fields. Faradays law and inductance. Maxwell’s Theory of Electromagnetism. Electromagnetic waves. Light and Color. Geometrical optics. Image Formation. Interference and diffraction.
